Splurge vs. Steal: Crystal Chandelier

Splurge | Home Depot $199 CAD

Steal | Amazon $99 USD

amazon chandelier

Yes, I am obsessed with crystal chandeliers. Can we move past this?

Honestly, I do so much online shopping, that online stores have started doing the shopping for me. This chandelier popped into my inbox last week, and without even thinking, I knew I had to have it for myself do a Splurge/Steal post about it 🙂

What do you think? Am I the only one who can’t get enough of these fixtures?

Splurge vs. Steal: Pouf

RH pouf

Splurge | Restoration Hardware Baby & Child $299.99 USD

Steal | Etsy $117.94 CAD

etsy pouf

As always, I’m a fan of a good pouf. Clearly, Restoration Hardware has figured out that selling these are a sure bet…because really, you can’t go wrong! As always, I had to find a better deal for this item…and I did! Etsy has many options in these poufs {as I mentioned here}. They come in every colour you can think of! Keep in mind, when you order these poufs from Etsy, they usually come unstuffed. The good news is, you can stuff them with just about anything you desire {clothes, pillows, foam} so it’s not the most difficult task imaginable!

Splurge vs. Steal: Rocker

pottery barn rocker

Splurge | Pottery Barn $799 USD

Steal | Target $399.99 USD

target rocker

When looking for a rocker to put in a nursery, I always say it’s a good idea to choose one that will transition from one room to another. Typically, a rocker won’t be necessary past year ONE…and when your little one starts to become more active {and needs more space to play} the rocker becomes obsolete. With these chairs right here, you can incorporate them into your family room, no problem! This way, you won’t feel that you have wasted your money on a piece of furniture…especially when it comes to the Target rocker! At only $399.99, you get a great piece of furniture that you will use for years to come 🙂

Splurge vs. Steal: Rococo Mirror

RH mirror

Splurge | Restoration Hardware $1035 USD

Steal | Structube $219 CAD

structube mirror

There’s something about an ornate mirror that I find so attractive. I know, they’re not for everyone…but they’re so beautiful, and can really ‘fancy-up’ a room! My decor style tends to be monochromatic, simple and streamline…but occasionally, I like to punch things up a bit with a fun accent! These mirrors add just the right amount of interest, since the rest of this room is fairly simple. Currently, you can find this style of mirror at HomeSense {I’ve been tempted many times}. Should you prefer not to search daily/weekly for the perfect mirror, head on over to Restoration Hardware or Structube to find the mirrors above!

Which one would you choose?
